I've spent some very frustrating hours trying to explain to a newly found DURHAM relative just who I am - I'm the great, great, great, grandson of John DURHAM - Who? - John DURHAM - you mean DURHAM - yeah, DURHAM - Who? - DURHAM, John DURHAM - That's pronounced DURHAM - That's what I said DURHAM - Your saying it wrong it's DURHAM - DURHAM? - No damnit, DURHAM .....

See, I've been pronouncing it DURHAM and all along I should have been pronouncing it DURHAM. I'll keep practicing - they won't let me be one until I can say it right ..... DURHAM, DURHAM, DURHAM, DURHAM ......

Anyway, I found John and Jane in the late 1600's - ever wonder what it would have been like back then? Me neither. Well, actually I have but the standard of living depended on how much money you had and who your parents were. So, when I do think about it I am always rich and have Earl's and Lady's for parents - none of that peasant stuff for me ..... Wake up!

Roight Guv .... John and Jane - currently I don't know where they were living - probably Merry Ole' England - or when they were married, but I do know they had, at least, these 5 children;

John DURHAM - (/died before June 28, 1772). This John also married a Jane (it's a family thing I guess). I only know about 1 child but you can bet your sweet
